Environment Windows 2000 server Exchange 2000 Exchange TDP TSM Server on z/OS
Is there any way to restore a Microsoft Exchange backup (done with the Exchange TDP) to another server while the production server is active and the mailbox store is up? Using the GUI, I try to start a restore, but am told that I have to dismount the mailbox store to continue. As that would take down Exchange, it's not an option for me. My goal is simply to get a copy of my existing system onto another Exchange server. My retention periods are 30 days, and I need to preserve the system as it looked 30 days ago.
