I'm running the 5.3.4.0 client on a Windows XP Pro SP2 workstation.
I don't have a dsmsched.log, since I backup my pc manually every now and
then.
You will find the dsmerror.log and my dsm.opt below this message.
I'm performing an incremental (complete) through the GUI.

It would help to have more specifics about your scenario. What TSM
client level are you using? What is the client OS (version, SP)? What
does full
(verbose) dsmsched.log look like? And dsmerror.log? What type of
operation are you performing? What does the options file look like?
