In the case where you have a TS3500 with a 3953 (mainframe capable), do you configure the TSM side as a SCSI library like you do as a stand-alone TS3500, or do you configure the TSM side as a 3494 library?
I configured the TSM side as a 3584, and it works. But I'm confused about the fact that category codes get assigned to the TSM tapes when they go in the door, because the library is functioning like a 3494, and those tapes never get out of INSERT status...
