The client software was updated on the node that has been reporting Failed 12 to 5.3.4. It looks like there is a little more info here to go on but the backup is still failing. The disk has about 180GB of data on it but it typically stops after backing up about 50GB. Previously it looked like the system seemed to fail on the same file but it looks like this is not the same file as previously failed.
I'm curious if anyone might have another take on this now that the message has changed. 11/14/2006 23:00:36 Normal File--> 10,624,512 \\sqlqacl\h$\SQL_DumpFiles\SQL02\collaboration_mibuweb_DUMP64.BAK [Sent] 11/14/2006 23:06:47 ANS9999E ntrc.cpp(928): Received Win32 RC 1450 (0x000005aa) from FileRead(): ReadFile '\\sqlqacl\h$\SQL_DumpFiles\SQL02\COLLABORATION_MIBU_DUMP64.BAK'.
