We have TSM Admin Center running on a virtual machine under ESX 2.5.2. Since I also support ESX, I gave it two 2.2 ghz cpus and 3.6 GB of RAM. It has been in service for only a few weeks, but to date has had no performance problems or other issues. In the (at least) three years we have been using virtual machines in production there have been extremely few problems traced back to the Vmware itself.
