The first thing would be to flesh out the problem description in a lot more detail.
- what is running where - what operating systems are involved - what TSM server and ODBC versions are involved - what version of Tomcat is involved - *HOW* is Tomcat involved - is this an app running under Tomcat? Can it be run external to Tomcat? - are any messages appearing on the TSM server? - what is your application trying to do? - what does your application look like (code that you can share that demonstrates the problem). - can you create a version of your application that runs outside of Tomcat, to see if that works correctly? - see article 1080948 on the IBM web site for a simple example of using Java to query the TSM server via JDBC <--> ODBC, or search the ADSM-L archives for TSMConnect.java. - what steps are needed to reproduce the problem.
