Here is some additional information: The overwhelming majority of servers fall in 2 management classes. Databases and utility servers with 9 day retention and file servers with 90 day retention.
The properties of the classes are: versions data exist - nolimit versions data deleted - 90 retain extra versions - 90 retain only version - 90 (for the 9 day retention, change 90 to 9). Backups of databases and incrementals of everything else are run nightly. > _____________________________________________ > From: Levi, Ralph > Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2006 7:39 AM > To: 'ADSM: Dist Stor Manager' > Subject: TSM catalog growth > > Good day all..... > > Do anyone have a script that will dump or analyze the tsm catalog (tsm > 5.2.7 - aix 5.3).
