Take a look at Virtualmountpoint.  If your file system has an
appropriate directory structure, and can handle the additional IO,
this will answer your need.-

That will work.  Consider the complication of ending up with another
(virtual) filespace, which could confuse end-user work.  Another
approach is to simply initiate multiple backups for the multiple
branches of the file system tree...again, if you can sustain the
overhead.  Whereas such is a qualified Incremental, Query Filespace
won't reflect a backup completion timestamp for these.
