But, the Command Line Interface is:

Tivoli Storage Manager
Command Line Administrative Interface - Version 4, Release 2, Level 1.25

Sooooooo.......I need to upgrade the "client" on the "server"?

Is it your server that is 5.3.1.2 or your dsmadmc client?
-DATAOnly was introduced at the 5.2 client level.
