Tsm server 5.2.4, solaris 8. We have an ibm 3494 library containing 4 3590-b drives. We wish to convert to 3590-e.
Devclass is defined with format=drive. Can I convert as follows: 1. mark all volumes in use read-only 2. allow scratches to be used as tsm sees fit. 3. do reclamation to move onto E formatted cartridges Thanks for the help.
