Hi All At present we have TSM Server running on Solaris and I'm am looking at getting new hardware for an upgrade of our existing OS and software. Now, I'm happy going with Solaris and Sun kit, but my boss wants me to look into cheaper alternatives. I understand that this could lead in a number of different directions, but my question is this.
Lets say I decide to move to another OS, how do I go about transferring the old Solaris database to the new TSM server? What kind of steps are involved?
