Dave,
I believe that DB backups will not be deleted unless you tell them to. I
have created an administrative schedule that runs daily and deletes DB
backups, keeping only the last three. The command is:

 DELETE VOLHISTORY TODATE=TODAY-3 TOTIME='07:55:00' TYPE=DBBACKUP

Subject: DB backups not expiring

Hello,

Something changed in our TSM environment a ways back and just noticed that
the daily full DB backups aren't expiring... I have them all the way back to
the beginning of July. My first inclination was to check
DRMDBBACKUPEXPIREDAYS, but it's only set to 7 days.

Any ideas of why this would be happening?

Thanks

-dave
