I don't think that would necessarily make a difference as to whether files are being bound to that management class, though... the QUERY COPYGROUP output suggests that the management class and backup copy group exist (but I wonder how much that was edited, since "query copygroup" should show more copy groups than for just the one management class, based on what info we have).
