Hi all,
My problem recurs.
I have tried various ways to backup this machine but it fails every now and then.
I have
1) update schedule <domain> kulsec01_sysobj
objects='"C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient\dsmc" backup systemobject' (..... as suggested by Andrew)
2) Delete of the staging file... adsm.sys
3) Restart the machine.
4) Restart the service.
The backup is successful upon each machine reboot but fails after a few days. This is not a good indication if I doesn't backup continously and needs reboot.
Tested :
"C:\Progra~1\Tivoli\TSM\baclient\dsmc" backup systemobject (which doesn't work)
Info:
TSM server on AIX 5.2
Client Machine = XP SP1
TSM server version 5.2.3
TSM client version = 5.2.3
Attached is the failed backup info on 16th Sept 05.
Thanks and Warmest Regards,
