I quite agree with your comments, IBM have regressed with the new interface, it's much more complicated than it needs to be.

Click "Policy Domains and Client Nodes" from the work items list. 3. Click server name. (i.e: Server1) 4. Click the customer's policy domain. (i.e: Standard) 5. Click "Client Nodes" from the work items list to display a table of client nodes 6. Select client node that you would like perform a client action 7. From the list of table actions, select "Perform a Client Action" 8. A form will replace the table of nodes 9. Fill in the form as desired 10. When OK is selected, a DEFINE CLIENTACTION is sent to the server What I posted previously: You can not directly perform the equivalent of the DEFINE CLIENTACTION command. In the Policy Domains and Client It must be done indirectly and first requires the user to define a client schedule. They can then do a "Run now" of this schedule.
