Matthias - You don't indicate that you were on 5.3.1.0 first - which is the official, latest maintenance level. 5.3.1.2 is a patch level. Patch levels are less "deterministic", being relatively quick fixes for certain specific problems, and may exhibit instabilities in environments which differ from those for which the patches were engineered.
