P.S. Take a look at your domain's archive retention (grace period) setting
and the corresponding HELP DEFINE DOMAIN information regarding the
ARCHRETENTION setting, which covers what happens if you delete an archive
copy group to which files are already bound. You should also have a look
at the chapter in the TSM Administrator's Guide about implementing
policies for client data. There is a section "How Files and Directories
Are Associated with a Management Class" that talks about (among other
things) the ramifications of deleting copy groups or management classes to
which existing versions are bound.
