More detail needed.

1. Do you have a tape drive that will read the tape in question? 
2. Can you attach that drive to the TSM server? 

The files should appear to a TSM client as files from a networked drive.
They should be easy to restore to an alternate server that runs the same
OS as the original machine that owned the files.
