On Windows it's not on disk, it's in the registry, but it's encrypted. You shouldn't ever need to know it, there are other ways to do everything I can think of.
What problem are you having that you need it for? Maybe I can tell you how to get around it.... -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Rodgers Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2004 11:27 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Passwordaccess Generate Dear All, I am using Tivoli Storage Manager v5.2.10 on a Windows Server 2003 machine with the PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE option in my dsm.opt file. Is there a way to be notified of the new password when the TSM client changes it (e.g. in the same manner as the MAILPROG option to the unix client) or to read the new password from the disk? Many thanks, Chris.
