You got this message in GUI client; but scheduled backup works OK if you exclude system state and system services. 5.2 client is compatible with 5.1 server. This message is just informational; it tells you that you cannot backup new features from Windows 2003 server. To backup system services you need 5.2 client and 5.2 server, otherwise 5.2 client with 5.1 server will work just fine.
