Hi Everybody, I'm currently testing our my Informix TDP and Tivoli setup and I get the following issue. I initiate the onbar command and the backup begins but looking at the onbar log I see the following :
2004-10-26 11:23:20 1437942 3235868 Begin level 0 backup rootdbs. 2004-10-26 11:23:20 1437942 3235868 Successfully connected to Storage Manager. Problme is it stays at this spot forever ( greater than 1 hour and my rootdbs is only about 500Mb ) or else I get a BAR_TIMEOUT error. I'm not sure that my client is communicating with the server even though I was able to porperly register my clien ton the server. My question is what is the proper BAR_BSALIB_PATH variable users have setup in their onconfig for an Informix 9.3 setup ? The ever useful Informix TDP states what it should be for an Informix 7 config : BAR_BSALIB_PATH=/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/informix/bin/bsashr10.o but not for any other subsequent versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rich
