Definetly run CLEANUP BACKUPGROUPS first, it took us about 4 weeks running that job
off and on between normal TSM operations until it finally had no more groups to clean.
It reduced our database by about 30gb (all our W2K servers had system objects
occupancy of about 60gb each).

This week we'll be upgrading to 5.2.3 hopefully but as we also did a server move as
well, we did the upgrade in two stages. I've written up some detailed instructions on
the steps I did, I can give them to you if interested.

Cheers,

It is time upgrade :-)

I currently have 4.2.1.3 on a windows 2K server. Going to upgrade to a Win
2003 server with the latest server (5.3 I think)

Does anyone know of any upgrade problems with making that big of a jump?
Even 'it would have been smoother/easier if I had ...' stories?
