Tsm server 5.2.2.5 on HP-UX 11.11 I have 3 large (912gb) file class pools and I have noticed that lowering the recl setting does not immediately trigger the reclamation process to start like it does on my tape pools. I want to be able to control when recl runs to avoid contention, so I have a script that lowers/monitors/raises the recl threshold. Problem is, sometimes it takes half an hour for the reclamation process to even start, which makes it tricky to script.
