Hello everyone! I am in the process of creating a new storage hierarchy to create two simultaneous backups of a client's data. In the book it states that you can write to a primary disk or tape storage pool and a copy pool at the same time and that the data must be coming from the client at the time that the simultaneous backup is occurring. What I am wondering is do you just invoke this by creating a separate management class that directs certain information to these storage pools and also what is everyone using this for? Oracle, lotus notes, or other large files and databases? Does anyone send smaller files or does this mainly operate efficiently for large database and other large files?
