You can create a new backup group with zero retention. (I can't remember, but you might have to leave versions exist at 1)
Rebind the files to the new group Exclude *.MP3 (Etc) Include *.MP3 newbackupgroup run backup. after backup has completed, remove the include and leave the exclude.
