Keep 14 versions for 90 days and 7 versions of the file that was deleted. Monthly generate backupsets, keep them for a year, except for the December backupsets, and keep them for 7 years. Better yet, find where the business drivers for this request are, and generate a proposal that addrsses the business need, not just a perception of some interum individuals. LOLuck ..
