Thanks to all that responded including Justin, Thomas, Dan, Wanda, Steven, Patrick, Dave, Matthew, David, and Bob. Sorry if I missed anyone.
The solution I needed and used for now is:
nohup dsmc sched </dev/null > /dev/null 2>&1 &
It is already setup to start on reboot, but I just couldnot seem to find
where it was.
