Jaap, We use Sybase on AIX and W2K. In both cases we remote mount disk space, perform native Sybase DB dumps and trans log copies to the remote disk space, archive the dump for required time period and then delete the dump and logs. Uses less disk space, reduces licensing costs and centralizes scheduling.
