Jaap,
We use Sybase on AIX and W2K. In both cases we remote mount disk space,
perform native Sybase DB dumps and trans log copies to the remote disk
space, archive the dump for required time period and then delete the dump
and logs. Uses less disk space, reduces licensing costs and centralizes
scheduling.

dear people,

Has anyone of you any experience with backupping of SYBASE databases?
Are there already special mods available in TSM or is there another way
to backup this with TSM

Met vriendelijke groet, Kind Regards,
