You can do it pretty easy with 3494 - just set both servers to use different categories. Then they will be treated as separate applications and will only iteract with the library manager.

So, in other words, you must upgrade the TSM 5.1 server to TSM 5.2 so that both library client and library manager are at TSM 5.2.
