Hi,
we have this error too. We have tsm server on windows 2000 y the others
machines (Aix and solaris) on the same network-segment. Yesterday verified
the red and not problem was detected.

c:> tracert 161.196.113.138

Tracing route to 161.196.113.138 over a maximum of 30 hops

1 <10 ms <10 ms <10 ms 161.196.113.138

Is possible that TSM server require more memory?.

Hi. we have this error too. we have in our tape-san tsm server at hp-ux and
window 2000 in different network-segments.

ibm say it is a problem in the network parameter. but we don´t find anythink
and i don´t believe that we have network
problems in two different networks in the same time.

regards,
Helge

This is an ongoing problem for us in an Aix environment too. Contary to
Karel's advice, I do not think it has to do with a hardware
communication problem. Everything else works fine over the same
connections. I don't know what the problem really is but since it
reconnects and goes on, I haven't worried about it yet.

Hi,
Plenty of times a day I receive error logs from TSM according to
Storage
Agents sessions. For insance :

"2003-07-01 07:39:19 ANR3605E Unable to communicate with storage
agent.
2003-07-01 07:39:20 ANR0479W Session 67 for server STA_ORNELLA
(Windows)
terminated - connection with server severed"

It fills up the TSM logs (100 lines a day), so it's going to be very
dificult to find interested me entries. If u know what is it and how
to
solve the problem I will be appreciate.
Regards,
Sebastian
