Joni, If it is your intent to archive /p01 and all of its files and subdirectories, then you need to make a couple of modifications:
1) Append a slash to the end of the object being archived: object=/p01/ This tells TSM to archive not only /p01 itself, but all of its files and subdirectories. 2) You need to include the -SUBDIR=YES option (unless all of your clients have SUBDIR YES in their options files or client options sets, but that is unlikely): options="-archmc=ora0010 -subdir=yes" Regards, Andy Andy Raibeck IBM Software Group Tivoli Storage Manager Client Development Internal Notes e-mail: Andrew Raibeck/Tucson/[EMAIL PROTECTED] Internet e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked. I just wanted to make sure that my syntax is correct. What I want to do is archive /p01 filespaces with the management class of ORA0010. Is this schedule correct? Thanks! I've never run an archive schedule with a particular management class before. Thank you in advance.
