Dear juean,

The command u are using is valid if your volumes are already lablled and are ready to 
go to scratch.So run AUDIT LIBRARY


syntax is audit library 3584_lib .This will remove the inconsistencies of the volume 
labels.


And if your volumes are fresh ,then first label these volumes using checkin=scratch 
option  and the checkin in the library.
