We plan on upgrading our TSM server from 4.1 on AIX 4.3.3 to TSM 5.1 this weekend. We have (2) 3494 libraries which the doc suggest will persist across the migration without any redefinitions required. The migration docs do not explicitly say, but implies that when we do an update all that it will automaticly initiate a update of the TSM DB as part of the install process.
Has anyone not had that experience in the AIX environment when they went from V 4 of TSM to V5.1?
