Jorge, this a limitation of the technology. TSM tries to workaround it by using "aggregates" - bunch of files is treated as single object. However for tiny flies (I liked your typo, it is close to bugs :-) even an aggregate of 256 files is too small and LTO does not stream. You cannot work around this limitation without changing the technology. A technology suitable for performing such a task is used in IBM 3590 B/E/H and STK 9840/9940 drives. LTO is good for bulk transfer/storage and to be more competitive onprice has some limitations.
