Hello I suspect you are using Windows2000?? I've had the same problem. Solution: Remove backupreg from dsm.opt Deleted adsm.sys
Since the registry is included in the "system objects" backup adsm.sys is not needed Dont forget to have domain all-local or domain systemobjects in your optfile.
