thnx Andy, here more exact crash description.
First, dsmc starts: (for readability, empty lines removed) Tivoli Storage Manager *** Fixtest, Please see README file for more information *** Command Line Backup/Archive Client Interface - Version 5, Release 1, Level 5.9 (C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1990, 2002 All Rights Reserved. Node Name: AOH062 Session established with server AOHBACKUP01: Windows Server Version 5, Release 1, Level 6.2 Server date/time: 2003.03.07 20:41:42 Last access: 2003.03.07 20:29:10 Incremental backup of volume 'SYSTEM OBJECT' Backup System Object: 'COM+ Database'. Backup System Object: 'Event Log'. Backup System Object: 'System and Boot Files'. then dsmc.exe traps and produces dump file (windows popup window with message "the program caused an error end will end. Dump will be produced" This is free translation from my german message") You are right, I had here a typpo, the real used syntax was dsmc incr -domain="systemobject -c: -d:" dsmc incr -domain="systemobject -c: -e:" dsmc incr -domain="systemobject -e: -f: -d:" Well Andy, I can report it, but it only makes if this syntax is supported. Is it? Regards Juraj remebering you since version 1.6 or so. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Andrew Raibeck [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Gesendet: Freitag, 07. Your third idea is promising, but I don't like the "crash" part. What specifically crashes? If you haven't reported this to IBM, then you should, so we can diagnose and fix. At the same time, is it really coded as you wrote? In which case, you have "-c" instead of "-c:". Perhaps that will get past the crash?
