The client version can still remain the same and it should work. We have in our site done a similar exercise upgraded from version 4.2.3 to version 5.1.0 and a couple of clients were upgraded too, but the rest are still ver 4.2 and have no problems.
-----Original Message----- From: Christoph Pilgram [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 29 January 2003 10:26 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Versions-Compatibility Hi all, as I have to migrate to Server Version 5.x.x (from 4.2.3 on AIX 4.3.3) I have to check wether our used client-version can remain the same as before or have to be migrated to version 5.x-clients. Is there anywhere a list of which client-version does work with which server-version (we are somekind of old-fashioned in version-handling). We use Clients with NT4 / W2K / Netware5 / HP-UX / Solaris / TDP-Oracle / TDP-Exchange ( V1.1 auf Exchange 5.5) / VMS (ABC-Client V.3.1) Thanks a lot Chris The contents of this email message and any attachments relating to the official business of Nedbank Limited ("Nedbank") are proprietary to Nedbank.
