Thanks Mark, I did some more investigation and found I needed these two includes with W2K client:
include.systemobject all <new_management_class> (without this the systemobject bind to the default class) include ?:\...\* <new_management_class> (as you suggested) as well the DIRMC you suggested at first. I think this now all I need and we should start using less tapes from now on, Thanks once again, David Fosdike Senior Technical Specialist Elders Limited 08 8425 4565 0417 714 467 '...despise not the day of small things...' -----Original Message----- From: Mark Stapleton [mailto:stapleto@;BERBEE.COM] Sent: Friday, 8 November 2002 12:44 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Data rebinding to non-default management class. Easy. In your client option file, put include <files_you_wish_to_move> <new_management_class> At the next backup, the files included above will rebind to the new management class. -- Mark Stapleton ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Certified TSM consultant Certified AIX system engineer MCSE
