We set it to 5 for servers that have the cpu/memory/os capable of
handling multiple concurrent backup streams, and leave it at 2 for those
that are borderline.  For a beefy machine with multiple filespaces,
setting it higher will definitely improve backup elapsed times.  But it
can put a big strain on smaller machines.

Is it recommended to add this value to the dsm.opt file?  Initially,
IBM's recommendation was to use the default value of 2 unless you have a
special circumstances.  What is Tivoli's positon at this time?  What are
most people doing?  What are the drawbacks, if any?
