Hi Mustafa;

Thanks for the reply.
I tried the steps you mentioned
1- Changing NODENAME in dsm.sys on the B50
2- Running the command "db2adutl query full" as the DB2 user
3- Ran the command dsmapipw as root. (Note: Doesn't ask for node name)
4- Reran #2
But
I still see only the Databases that were already installed on the B50.

Am I Missing anything?

Thanks & regards;
Hussein

Hi Hussein ,
put NODename 7026-B80 name in the RS6000 7046-B50
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm.sys
file.
if you can see B80 db2 backups with db2adutl query full command you are
ready to restore
if you can't execute dsmapipw command enter node name and password and
then try db2adutl query
full command again.

regards

Hi TSMers;

Anyone out there has a procedure on restoring those databases to a different
systems?

My DB2 is on AIX 4.3.3. The DB is currently on a RS6000 7026-B80. I want to
restore it
on RS6000 7046-B50. Does it matter?

SQL and Exchange are on Win2K.
