The word I have  from TSM is fall 2002  (Version 5.1.5) for a truly cluster aware 
Netware client. In the meantime you can get backups, but there are a few drawbacks.
The main one is that TSM doesn't recognize logical volumes as independent of their 
host machines. In other words if a volume fails over TSM sees it as a new volume on a
new node and backs it up as if it was the first time. We also had a problem with NW6 
where the client would not recognize shared (or NSS volumes), the fix for that had
to do with a setting in NW having to do with how NWbackup was configured. This was/is 
not an issue with NW5.1

Don't know what specific posts you came across in the archives, but if you search on 
posts from myself or  Seth Forgosh ( I think) you may find some more specifics.
