Hi, I usually label bunch of tapes at once and simply use them then fo a long time, even if swapping them among different storage pools.
Do you have any special requirement which forces you to re-label existing tapes, or do you purchase tapes in very small amounts? Juraj -----Original Message----- From: Joshua S. I believe after a tape has been labeled there is no way for you to tell TSM to keep the tape in the drive. -- Joshua S. When I'm using manual drives and I label a tape it spits the tape out each time when it's done labelling, this sucks because I'm not a the location of where the hardware is. It's annoying calling someone all the time just to pop the tape back in. Does anyone know of a parameter which keeps the tape in the drive even after a successfully TSM tape label operation? Any help would be appreciated thanks! --Justin Richard Bleistein
