Paul There is dbx utility in AIX to check what exactly happened .U need to preserve core file. Another thing I would look into bos.rte file maintenance level and see if this as some APAR with Tivoli file sets. Look in TSM website.Add be sure ur both OS and TSM are at latest Patch levels. Balanand
