I have a customer who tried: incremental -verbose /ps/odstest/data and several objects were inspected but not were backed up.
He then tried: backup -verbose /ps/odstest/data and that backed up the two sub directories but no files. Finally he tried: incremental -verbose /ps/odstest/data/ and that backed up the files. Why (or when) does the ending slash make a difference? He claims he has similar incrementals on other machines that work without the ending slash? Is there a logical explanation for that? The machine being backed up is running Aix 4.3.3 with the TSM 4.2.1.15 backup client. The server is on OS390 2.10 running TSM 4.2.1.9. David
