This is problem with the tape cartridge. If it was with the drive other volumes also would fail. TSM tries to read volume label before to mount the volume and fails. If cleaning of the drive does not help you have not too many options. 1. Mark volume destroyed 2. Restore the volume data from copy pool 3. Relabel the volume

Has someone any suggestion? its a problem with the TSM version or with the 3580 LTO?
