EDT integrates very well with TSM.
The administrative work to keep the platform running isn't much, however there are a lot of configuration involved setting up the inital platform. But when you have your inital platform running, the administrative work is minimal.
For what purpose are you planning to install EDT? Normally, there are two reasons, either to enable LAN-free with a ACSLS controlled library, or to share a ACSLS controlled library with OS/390.
For LAN-free, the administrative work is depending on how often you plan to install new LAN-free clients. For sharing with OS/390, the administrative work is minimal.
