The pre and post schedule commands on NT work properly for me. I have several NT servers with a variety of TSM client levels and they all work fine. Have you checked your DSMSCHED.LOG and DSMERROR.LOG to see what is happening.
Also, ensure when you define the pre/post schedule commands that you tell TSM you want it to wait for the command to complete. If you bring up the client GUI there is a check box for this option. Or if you look in the DSM.OPT: These would wait: preschedulecmd c:\some.cmd postschedulecmd c:\some.cmd While these wouldn't wait: presNchedulecmd c:\some.cmd postNschedulecmd c:\some.cmd Notice the "N" after the PRE/POST, this tells TSM not to wait.
