On a regular TSM installation those parms from Ben's email are set in rc.adsmserv. Have you checked to see if they're set in startadsm? If not, sounds like time to lodge a complaint with SSD.

No newer level seemed to bee available. I will try the server option SELFTUNEBUFPOOLSIZE and hope to resolve the problem. Otherwise I will have to give IBM a call.
