Maybe your problem is the spelling. LANFREECOMMMETHOD has three M and not
two as you've written.
I think this will fix up your problem.

Can someone send me a dsm.opt file of a working LAN free W2K client,
The client I installed keeps giving me error's on dsm.opt options.
eg. LANFREECOMMETHOD generates an error when i start "dsm" ?
