Due to the amount of deleted e-mails the last couple days we are experiencing some Exchange problems.
With the deletion of all of the viruses and when the backup executed it kicks off database zeroing.
The backups time out with a communications failure. We ran into this problem with the first version of the ADSMConnect Agent and Microsoft put out a fix. We have applied this fix, but are still getting the timeouts. We've also tried increasing all the time out values to no avail. Is anybody experiencing the same problem or have any TSM suggestions other than "turn off database zeroing".
We are running NT 4.0 servers SP 6.0a, Exchange 5.5 SP4. We are using TDP for Exchange V 1.1.1.01. Our TSM servers are IBM 3466's running TSM V 4.1.
